RAW is a punk fashion magazine I developed in 2022 for my Typography II class. I wanted to create eccentric layouts where type and image could interact, and express the emerging fashion trends of punk youth during a post-COVID time.
I used my own photography and editing for the cover image to portray the type of audience I imagined interacting with this conceptual magazine.

RAW not only explores clothing trends, but it also goes into popular hair, makeup, and music for 2022 teens and young adults. Punk fashion touches on every aspect of their
look, especially the media they're consuming.
Punk culture is typically very inclusive and the subcultures are made up of people from different backgrounds. I wanted to highlight this in my magazine spreads by using models and musicians that are relatable to the audience and don't all look alike.
